BergenKIDS exists for God's glory to partner with families in leading little disciples to grow in Christ and make Him known.

What is BergenKIDS?

At Church at Bergen, we come alongside families in introducing children to Jesus, nurturing their faith, and equipping them to use their gifts to build up the Church. One of the ways we do this is through our Sunday BergenKIDS programing.

Sunday BergenKIDS programing is offered at our 10 AM service for children through 5th grade.

New Here? First Visit? Here's what to expect.

When you arrive, you will be greeted by our Welcome Team at BergenKIDS Check-in. As a way to serve you, we will ask for your contact information, as well as any special instructions, such as considerations for allergies or special needs, for each child. This information will be added into our BergenKIDS database.  To simplify your check-in experience on your first visit, please fill out the New Family Registration Form.

Upon check-in, you and your child will both receive a sticker with a matching code. This will provide a way to reach you during the service, if necessary (you’ll see your child’s code in the lower corner of the screen if you are needed). This sticker will also be used to retrieve your child.  Following the sermon, we will partake in communion and sing a closing worship set.  Please pick up your child as the closing worship set starts so they can join you in worship.  We can't wait for you to join us!

To be included in our family emails, or with any questions related to BergenKIDS, please email Barbara Krieger, our BergenKIDS Coordinator.

We Value:

Across all ages and stages, we use The Gospel Project curriculum which is a Christ-centered chronological bible study.  This curriculum provides a fun and meaningful learning environment where the entire family can learn the same biblical truths each week.

We believe the gospel goes forth through meaningful relationships.  Your child’s class will include a time of games and activities, an interactive bible lesson, and one-on-one time with teachers to intentionally seek to foster relationships.

BergenKIDS is located in a secure area equipped with a security team.  All volunteers go through interviews and federal background checks, and our whole team is trained to keep your children safe.  Toys in BergenKIDS are cleaned and sanitized weekly. We ask that your child be free from fever or any symptoms of a contagious illness for at least 24 hours before attending BergenKIDS as a way to ensure the health and safety of all children.

For  ages 2 and up, we send lesson resources home each week to help foster family discipleship.  We encourage you to keep the conversations going on the ride home by asking your child what they learned about Jesus.  We recommend Homefrontmag.com as a great resource to equip families to create enjoyable, spiritually-forming times in your home.
