BergenKIDS exists to partner with parents to disciple their children through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

What is BergenKIDS?

At Church at Bergen, we believe parents are the primary disciple-makers of their children, and we see it as a great joy and privilege to be able to corporately come alongside parents and enable them to thrive in this role.

Every Sunday, children from infants to fifth-grade experience age-appropriate, engaging, and interactive lessons from teachers who are deeply invested in teaching children about Jesus Christ and the story of his redeeming grace throughout the Bible.

New Here? First Visit? Here's what to expect.

You will be greeted by our Welcoming Team at BergenKIDS Check-in.  As a way to serve you, we will ask for your contact information, as well as any special instructions, such as considerations for allergies or special needs, for each child. This information  will be added into our BergenKIDS database.

Upon check-in, you and your child will both receive a sticker with a matching code. This will provide a way to reach you during the service, if necessary (you’ll see your child’s code in the lower corner of the screen if you are needed).  This sticker will be used to retrieve your child after the communion portion of the service, where they can join you during our closing worship time.

We Value:

Across all ages and stages, we use The Gospel Project curriculum which is a Christ-centered chronological bible study.  This curriculum provides a fun and meaningful learning environment where the entire family can learn the same biblical truths each week.

We believe the gospel goes forth through meaningful relationships.  Your child’s class will include a time of games and activities, an interactive bible lesson, and one-on-one time with teachers to intentionally seek to foster relationships.

BergenKIDS is located in a secure area equipped with a security team.  All volunteers go through interviews and federal background checks, and our whole team is trained to keep your children safe.  Toys in BergenKIDS are cleaned and sanitized weekly. We ask that your child be free from fever or any symptoms of a contagious illness for at least 24 hours before attending BergenKIDS as a way to ensure the health and safety of all children.

For  ages 2 and up, we send lesson resources home each week to help foster family discipleship.  We encourage you to keep the conversations going on the ride home by asking your child what they learned about Jesus.  We recommend as a great resource to equip families to create enjoyable, spiritually-forming times in your home.
